Julie has a Bachelor of Human Movement Studies and a Master of Education and has many professional associations and affiliations.

Julie also operates her own successful independent consulting firm. Julie has a wide cross section of private and public sector clients including Sydney councils and has developed safety management systems and operations management plans, consulted in occupational risk and OH&S, undertaken OH&S audits, training programs and due diligence, and has acted as an expert witness.
