Michael Furey

I’ve spent over a decade helping organisations across manufacturing, engineering and various other sectors to find the right people to build teams that truly succeed. For me, it’s never just about filling roles, it’s about understanding the unique dynamics of every business, team, and individual to make sure the fit works for everyone.


Along the way, I’ve worked in client-facing advisory roles, senior recruitment and contract/permanent placements, giving me a unique perspective on both the operational and human side of business. At Performance Drivers, I combine that experience with a practical, consulting mindset, helping clients tackle real challenges, build capability, and create measurable impact.


When I’m not at the desk or on the phone, I’m a dad to three little ones who tend to keep me very busy. I enjoy all things sport, camping, fishing and anything outdoors, so if any of these come up on a call or in a meeting, feel free to allow a little extra time!

Miguel Santos

For over 25 years I’ve dedicated my career to helping organisations make sense of complexity and move forward with confidence.

 

As both an external managemnent consultant and an employee, I’ve worked across a wide range of industries: from health and technology to government, not-for-profit, and high-growth commercial environments, in roles that blend leadership with plenty of hands-on problem solving.

What ties it all together is a genuine curiosity about how organisations work, and how they can work better. I’ve held senior leadership roles, built teams and functions from the ground up, led complex transformations, and rolled up my sleeves to solve practical problems when it mattered most.

I enjoy partnering closely with people at all levels, from founders and executives to frontline teams, to turn ideas into real outcomes. Ultimately, what gives me the greatest satisfaction is making meaningful, lasting change, and leaving a positive imprint well beyond the work itself.

I founded Performance Drivers more than 25 years ago, and established the firm with a clear focus on practical business improvement and leadership effectiveness.

 

Over many years, I've worked closely with executives and leadership teams to help organisations cut through complexity, strengthen execution, and deliver meaningful performance outcomes.

I've built Performance Drivers’ reputation on trust, clarity, and a hands-on approach, values that continue to underpin the firm today. My experience spans strategy, leadership development, and performance improvement across a wide range of industries.

I strive to maintain a voice in the business and leadership community and am proud of the foundation and legacy Performance Drivers continues to build upon.

Sam Samhan

Sam is a Strategic Advisor to Performance Drivers, supporting the firm on strategy, commercial decision-making, and growth initiatives.

He is an experienced senior finance and business leader with a background spanning Big 4 advisory, executive leadership roles, and ASX-listed companies. Sam has worked closely with boards, CEOs, and executive teams across growth businesses and complex organisations, bringing a practical, commercially grounded perspective to strategy and performance.

Sam’s focus is on helping leadership teams cut through complexity, sharpen execution, and drive sustainable results.
